Paul Magno

Pastor Paul Magno radically encountered God’s grace in 1999, rescuing him from a lifestyle of sin and purposeless living. Even in his early days as a new believer, God put a strong desire in Pastor Paul’s heart to serve the Body of Christ and to preach the Gospel. He received his ministry credentials with the Australian Christian Churches in 2006.

As a father, Paul is dad to 7 children. Together with Jessica, they have been involved in foster care since 2008. Paul’s passion in foster care and adoption stems from the prophetic dream of making abortion unthinkable and seeing the hearts of fathers turn to the children (Mal. 4:5-6; Lk. 1:17).

As a leader, Pastor Paul serves as the Senior Pastor of Alabaster Church — a growing church serving across three locations in Melbourne. Pastor Paul’s passion is to see the broken transformed by the grace and truth found in Jesus Christ, and to empower them to move with boldness and wisdom in the presence and power of the Spirit for the fulfillment of the Great Commission. In recent years, Pastor Paul’s ministry has extended to key partnerships with ministries in the Philippines and Papua New Guinea, and he is believing for greater impact in nations where unreached people groups are situated.

Jessica Magno

Pastor Jessica’s family migrated to Australia from Uruguay in the late 1970s. She was born and raised in the western suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. Jessica was radically saved at a Youth Alive event in Luna Park in 2001, leaving behind a lifestyle of involvement in the occult, alcohol, and drugs.

As a leader, Pastor Jessica has been involved in a variety of ministry roles — children’s and youth ministries, women’s ministry, playgroups, preaching, prophetic ministry, office and admin roles. She is a qualified childcare educator and holds a diploma in community services. She serves Alabaster Church alongside Pastor Paul as Senior Pastor. She expresses and balances her leadership roles between church, workplace, and family.

As a mother, Pastor Jessica is currently writing 7 “books” through the lives of 7 children — 5 biological children and 2 in permanent care. Since fostering in 2008, Pastor Jessica has fostered close to 20 children altogether.

Pastors Paul and Jessica live in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
